Company Pressindustria was established in 1941, as a privately held company, that specialized in the manufacture of filter-presses (hence the name of the company) and stainless steel process equipment. for the fine chemical, pharmaceutical and food processing industries.
From the outset, although a small company, Pressindustria became one of the leading suppliers of filtration units for those fields of applications. The experience built up through the activity of a team of bright technicians and capable workers has been of paramount importance to the development of the Company.
In 1963 Dr. PAOLO STRANEO, Associated Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Politecnico of Milan, was appointed Managing Director of the Company, with the mission to develop a diversification strategy into the chemical industry.
The adoption of the most modern engineering concepts in the fields of the chemical industries brought Pressindustria a great success and marked the beginning of two different main activities:
- design and construction of chemical plants mainly based on proprietary innovative technologies
- design and construction of a wide range of chemical equipment, with an unique competence especially in the field of mixing technology.
